On May 11, 2008 God is again calling the nations from the North, South, East and West to embark on this prayer journey with Him. God is moving in His awesome power and He is challenging us to be part of this journey. It is a journey that is not about us, but about a world in desperate need for His glory and compassionate love. It is a call to respond to His invitations to "humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways" (2 Chronicles 7:14)
This year, we will be meeting in various host sites, all across the Greater Toronto Area. Please join us to pray at a time and location closest to you. May the Body of Christ hear the Father's heart to come together in unity on this day of Pentecost, the birth of the Church, to pray.

By now you may have noticed that Mother's Day falls on Pentecost Sunday (the day of the GDOP each year) in 2008. For some this seems to be a major obstacle and for others an exciting opportunity. Here are some points to consider to help you view it as more of an opportunity than a problem:
Francis Frangipane writes about how God used praying women to birth the Jesus movement and is "raising up and
anointing a prayer army of women who are about to be given greater power as
they intercede before God for their families and their nation."
GDOP Toronto is looking for a few good men and women to
serve on our various tracks.
Each track member must be a mature believer who
wholeheartedly subscribes to the GDOP
Core Values.
